Aaron Begin, a long serving Police Officer, with 17 years experience split between Toronto Police Service and London Police Service. Aaron was assigned to several different uniform and investigative units which included the Criminal Investigation Branch, Community Response Unit and Uniform Patrol.

Throughout this time, Aaron recognized that there was a significant need for improved communications between Police Services and associated Government agencies alike. Current methods of communications are considered obsolete by industry standards. Nexxus One will solve this lack of innovation by developing unique software applications that will become the gold standard for communication between Police and Government agencies, as well as the people they govern.

About DAVID YOUNAN

David Younan is a police officer who has spent the last fifteen years working in various
capacities, including front-line patrol, criminal investigations, and currently, in an evidence-based policing unit where he targets complex problems and uses research and analysis to propose solutions.

Prior to policing, David attended Western University in Canada where he obtained an Honours Degree in Political Science. David is currently enrolled in the second year of a Master’s program in Applied Criminology and Police Management from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

Ashley started her career in Marketing 15 years ago at an Educational Publishing company where she was able to expand her knowledge in layout and design, branding, and print and digital marketing. With her passion being in design and development, Ashley is excited to join the Nexxus One team. Building the Nexxus One brand and watching it grow as more agencies connect to share vital information in real-time is a goal that can be achieved with their strong team.

Dave has been employed as a police officer for 16 years, during which time Dave has had the opportunity to work and gain experience in various areas within policing. General patrol, Investigative units and currently a member of the Tactical Unit. Regardless of position, communication has always been crucial in getting the job done, unfortunately it is all to common for communications to fall apart.

Nexxus One will solve this problem. Whether it’s communicating with members in your department, multi jurisdictional or with members of the public. Nexxus One offers a simple to use platform that streamlines all communications, thus ensuring the job can get done right.

About Cal Horvat

Cal has been employed by the London Police service for 5 years, during which time Cal has worked in the Headquarters Detention Unit, Court Services, Criminal Court House, and general front-line patrol. Cal has an education in Business Marketing which provides a great foundation for applying business ethics and concepts to new technologies that are vasty needed in the policing world.

It is clear that communication within Police Services or other agencies alike is greatly lacking. A more streamlined and efficient method of communication would undoubtedly be game-changing for Policing and other affiliated agencies, and the Nexxus One's platform is that solution.

Ray has been a police officer for 8 years serving the majority of his time as front-line patrol as well as community foot-patrol. During his time in these capacities, Ray has often been involved in active investigations that involved multiple agencies, which had shown the need for Nexxus One’s platform and the effectiveness it would have provided.

Ray wants Nexxus One’s innovative technology to become the standard in policing, as he knows the ability to have immediate and accurate information will allow officers and agencies alike to perform at their highest potential and greatly improve public safety.
