About Us

Founded in 2020 by Aaron Begin, a long serving Police Officer, who recognized the lack of innovation in many areas of law enforcement but more specifically the communication between external agencies. From an initial complaint, Nexxus One has come a long way from its beginnings as an idea created out of necessity. It was evident that the need for such solutions was vital to the innovation and progression of Law Enforcement.

Nexxus One is dedicated to providing innovative communication solutions and software development for Law Enforcement and associated agencies. Our primary focus will be a secure, multi-functional application with a user friendly experience. This will become vital to information sharing between Law Enforcement Officers and associated stakeholders.

In 2023, we need to be beyond sending messages through CPIC to external agencies in hopes that someone will get the message, disseminate properly and at some point get a response. After becoming a member of the Nexxus One network it quickly became apparent that the Nexxus One platform is a revolutionary tool that will modernize an aging method of communication between law enforcement agencies.

The reliance of CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) messages between agencies highlights the inefficiencies in this form of communication. Currently if a member of a Police Service wants to communicate with another Police Service they rely on an archaic form of broken telephone involving multiple people in hopes that the receiver of the information is available. Nexxus One streamlines communications as the interface is intuitive and can be easily used by users regardless of their technological abilities.

I have been a part of several investigative projects where the reliance on communication among other police agencies relied heavily on pre-existing relationships where CPIC messages simply would not suffice due to time constraints and inconsistency of who would receive the correspondence. I believe Nexxus One will strengthen pre-existing relationships between police agencies and foster new connections which will in turn positively impact the delivery of law enforcement.

Several social media platforms exist for the general public to use however without Nexxus One law enforcement members are without a secure and modern form of communication.
